Managing Risk in your Real Estate Business is a Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission approved 9-Hour Elective Continuing Education course (approval #RECE007363).
This course is designed for real estate professionals who seek to effectively navigate and carefully mitigate risks while carrying out the day-to-day responsibilities in and out of the office.
In addition to incorporating the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) “core components of safety”- Knowledge, Awareness, and Empowerment - from the NAR REALTOR® Safety Program, a strong emphasis on personal safety is also included in this training.
Participants will gain essential insights into the common risks faced in the real estate industry, including those specific to personal safety and the safety of others.
Through this course, real estate professionals will learn to identify potentially hazardous situations, implement crime prevention strategies, and apply basic risk management principles to enhance personal safety.
The curriculum is enriched with interactive learning activities, ensuring that participants not only understand the theoretical aspects of risk management, but also acquire practical skills and strategies, that can be immediately applied in professional and personal contexts.
This class DOES include firearm safety training which will culminate in a live fire training session. For individuals who wish to participate in the class but not with a live firearm, a non-firing laser pistol can be used in place of the live firearm and still meet the requirements for the class.
By the end of the course, participants will be better equipped to recognize and mitigate risks, ensuring a safer working environment for themselves and those with whom they work.
This 9-Hour course is offered from 10am-6pm on April 21, 2026 at Main Line Armory.
