Getting Started as a PA Real Estate Salesperson
You can become a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in Pennsylvania by first making sure that you meet all the requirements of the Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission and then completing the following three steps:
Step #1: Complete 60 Hours of Coursework
First, the Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission states that you must complete sixty hours of "pre-licensing" coursework. Pre-licensing coursework includes two 30-hour courses: "Real Estate Fundamentals" and "Real Estate Practice". Our Pennsylvania Real Estate Salesperson Program includes the required sixty hours of coursework that you will need. Most importantly, our program offers you the convenience of an online class, along with the availability of daily Instructor interaction during Virtual Office Hours.
Step #2: Pass the PA Real Estate Salesperson Exam
After completing the sixty hours of coursework, you will then need to pass the Pennsylvania Real Estate Salesperson Exam. Our school offers an Exam Prep course which students are encouraged to take. In addition, be sure to read the PSI Exams Candidate Information Bulletin for further information about the Exam.
Step #3: Apply for a PA Real Estate License
Finally, you will need to submit an application to the Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission to obtain your Real Estate License. Be sure to visit the Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission site to obtain an application for your License.
